I do agree. I can't stand what Capcom decided to start doing this gen with the on-disc DLC. I remember when they first showed SSF4 the very first time, the videos were showing new costumes. I assumed the game came with them since they were in the announcment video. It turned out not only were they not availible in the game even though they were already on the disc and had been developed right in tandem with the game so they should have been unlockable.........but then they release the unl...
No, not a crystal ball, smart ass lol.
It comes from CDP themselves saying many times in video interviews that they decided to work on 360 FIRST because they're a small team and it's easier and quicker to develop for. You wouldn't specifically say "360 FIRST" if they weren't doing PS3 second.
Not only that pretty simple logic though. Because remember, LONG before CDP announced The Witcher 2 for 360, they announced The Witcher: Rise o...
..............for a few months.
Submitters and approvers trolling thinking they're making PS3 gamers jealous because as far as they believe it's staying 360 exclusive. But it isn't. CD Projekt is a fairly small developer and they only have the resources to work on one console at a time. And since the 360 is easier/faster to properly develop for, they chose to do the 360 version first.
But as soon as that's out and patched they'll be developing full time on the PS3 version. So read these ...
I would say a small or medium sized camel. I think they said they've done 25 (or was it 30) minutes of new CGI, and it's either 2 or 4 new quest lines.
I can't wait for them to get to work on the PS3 version after the 360 version launches since I no longer have a 360 but I REALLY want to play this game. For their first console project, CD Projekt is getting awefully impressive results.
Not sure why Red Dead or Assassin's Creed would be on a best graphics list, and even LA Noir wasn't all that GREAT looking. It was hyped to be great looking, but the end prouct really wasn't. There are MANY better looking games than all 3 of those games.
I'd say those 3 games should be replaced with Heavy Rain, Metal Gear Solid 4 and Heavenly Sword. Then you'd have an accurate and current list.
But by the end of this year there are going t...
I don't understand all this talk about Killzone 3's online being "worse" than Killzone 2's. I think it was SLIGHTLY more refined, which made it feel a bit easier, but not much.
I do NOT agree that is was casualized in any way. The fact remains it's still one of the VERY few console FPSs that don't have "aim assists" or "auto-aim" as I call it, and really requires teamwork to win. Which imho keeps it just as "hardcore"...
Well based on his judging skills in the past episode of The Tester, maybe all his testers for the new Twisted Metal all gave him their bug/glitch reports in spanish even though he doesn't speak spanish himself. He seems to think that would be perfectly acceptable when good communication is absolutely key when fixing software issues. But what do I know, I'm only a lowly gamer.
But the fact is, if Killzone 2's online was completely flawless in terms of connection st...
Personally, all I want added to the Vita aside from assurance that EVERY downloadable PSP game works on it, is being able to put all my digital comic books on it.
It may sound lame, but I've spent probably over $50 in Digital comics I've wanted. I think they're great, and I wish there were still more that I want being added. But still, I have quite a few and those comics will look FANTASTIC on that higher res, OLED screen.
If they add a link to th...
Exactly. I've already played a handfull of games with voice control, and the most recent was like 3 or 4 years ago in EndWar. But most of the games with voice controls I've played are from last generation on PS2.
I used voice controls to control my squad in one or two RainbowSix games on PS2. And also in the NASCAR games EA did last gen, your crew chief would give you info through your headset like lap times, gas and tires, and you could tell him what you want done du...
FF11, PSU and EverQuest Adventures weren't "proper" MMOs to you? The MMO formula works perfectly well on consoles, because it's pretty much the same exact "porting formula" for lack of the proper term that the Diablo-esque games use when going to consoles. Skills get mapped to face buttons and a shoulder button or 2 is used to modify the face buttons. It's really the same exact formula.
I never understand people who still question whether both ...
There are 25 or so launch titles, so there could be more than one launch RPG, but the only one I can think of day 1 is Dungeon Hunter Alliance. And while it's a pretty OK game, the price point makes it impossible to suggest. If it were the same price as the PS3 version ($8-15 depending on sales), it would be worth it all day. But $40?! I don't know WTF they were thinking with that price. You can't even rotate the camera, which is key imo with these games.
Unfortunately, she won't do video games. I don't know if she has something against video games or something, but I know she won't do them.
Dan Akroyd, Bill Murray and Harold Ramis were trying to get her to reprise her role as Dana Barret in the GhostBusters game. ANd that was a good script by the original writers of the movies. And that game also had all the original stars from the movies (except Rick Morranis, but that's because he shunned Hollywood). She tur...
I'm a person that has been stuck using the PS3 browser for years. There have been many ups and downs, and before tonight it was at an all time low. You couldn't visit anything with javascript enabled without it freezing. Unbelievably, starting like last week or so, the simple main google page was making the PS3 browser run out of memory for some crazy reason.
It's like a whole new browser now. I've had Javascript on and it hasn't frozen YET.....but it'...
I don't express my opinion as fact (though you do seem to do that). I present it as my opinion, and an opinion that is shared by other fans of the genre. Which is made clear by the fact that the only disagrees I got were from you (obviously since no1 else was still coming here by my 3rd post), while conversely none of your disagrees are from me because I never click agree or disagree on here at all. But I'll leave it there, aside from the last part.
Altered Beast and ...
I remember all the articles from when SE first announced this, it was stated in the press release, and then cleared up by official translators instead of random internet people translators, stated that it's actually a mixture of both a HD remaster and remake. Meaning for the most part it's just a remaster, but alot of the in-battle character/aeon/enemy models looked bad and so thos particular assets that looked bad or didn't work were being remade.
My memory isn...
To be honest, you shouldn't post your opinion in reply to someone else's opinion in a public forum such as this unless you want it debated. I don't take your opinion to heart, I'm debating it just like you debated my opinion with yours. That's how this works. Now that that's out of the way.
But this game HAS aged well, unless you're also saying X-Men and TMNT havn't aged well. They have the same gameplay, the same level of visual quality (about...
Simple? The whole genre is simple. Did ANY of these games from the arcade days have more than 3 buttons? Jump, Attack and Special. Do you have an example of one of these games from that day that weren't simple? Castle Crashers is probably the deepest the genre has ever been and that's modern.
This game has aged exactly as well as any game in the genre. The only problem with these games from back then is their length. They were arcade games, they had to be able to be ...
I've never heard of him. But since I know this game, just looking at that rediculous score means I would never click on that link as to not give such an incredibly SALTY reviewer a hit.
I mean, how angry is this guy to give such a classic beat'em-up a score reserved for the crappiest of the crappy games. I think if I made a game, I would rather it got a 1/10 than a 3/10.
The Simpson's Arcade Game is just as good as any beat'em ups of the day. ...
You're wrong. On disc DLC isn't a big deal if the developer is giving it away for free as an incentive to buy new, I'm all for that. And it's not even a big deal to me if they're selling it for a decent price. When it's a good value, I'm still all for it. If a developer's product is good, I'll support it by buying DLC. So I'm with youy up to that point.
But if you don't see a problem with how Capcom's doing their on disc DLC, th...
